Swathi Venkatesan

Swathi is a Master Pastry Chef with over 16 years of experience working in some of the finest kitchen across the world. Having started her career with the Oberoi Hotels, Swathi has worked at many five star kitchens across India including Oberoi Mumbai, Oberoi Delhi and Wildflower Hall-Shimla.

She headed the pastry kitchen for celebrity Chef Anton Mosimann in London, cooking at prestigious locations such as Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, St.James’s Palace and many venues across Europe.

Swathi represented Anton Mosimann as head of International Olympic Committee (IOC) pastry kitchens, America House, catering for the American Olympic Committee, at the 2012 London Olympics. Swathi was also the head of pastry operations for the IOC at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Swathi has also consulted for a variety of high profile pastry kitchens such as Oberoi Rajvilas, Ista hotel, Hyderabad and Manré, an up-market restaurant set up by Ramola Bachchan in New Delhi.

Balancing motherhood and her love for baking, Swathi has now taken on the role of an independent consultant and trainer. In the recent past Swathi has conducted baking and cake decoration classes for professionals and amateurs in Dubai with much success. She currently resides and conducts her classes in Gurgaon, Haryana.
